What is blue jay cardinal?

Blue Jay and Cardinal are two distinct bird species found in North America. Blue Jays are known for their vibrant blue feathers on the upper body and a white and black crest on the head. They have a broad, sturdy beak and a distinct blue and black pattern on their wings.

Cardinals, on the other hand, are known for their bright red feathers on the upper body and a distinctive black mask around their faces. The males have a crest on the head that matches the red feathers, while females have a more subdued crest and coloration.

Both Blue Jays and Cardinals are known for their vocalizations and can be heard singing in their respective habitats. Blue Jays are more likely to be heard making loud calls and mimicking other bird species, while Cardinals have a distinctive whistling song that is often described as sounding like "cheer, cheer, cheer."

While these birds may have overlapping ranges in North America, they are two distinct species and should not be confused with each other.
